David was born and raised in Prague. After completing his Ph.D. in economic theory and history of economic thought he worked as an assistant professor and later department chair at the UEP, Prague. He joined AAU in 2013 as Dean of the School of IRD. Until mid-2020 he served as VP for enrollment management. Since 2020 he holds a regular visiting position at the University of Turin’s economics department.

Zuzana Havránková is a Professor of Economics at , Senior Lecturer at Anglo-American University in Prague, and Research Affiliate at the . She specializes in labor economics, international economics, and tool development and applications of meta-analysis in economics. Dr. Havránková has published as corresponding author in leading journals, including the Review of Economics and StatisticsJournal of Labor EconomicsNature CommunicationsEuropean Economic Review, and Review of Economic Dynamics, with over 30 peer-reviewed articles to her name. Her work has been cited approximately  and recognized in top journals such as Science and the American Economic Review. Her research has had significant real-world impact: her paper on daylight saving time has informed policy debates in the US Congress and European Parliament and has been covered by media outlets such as the New York Times and Der Standard. Nobel laureate Tom Sargent has used her work in his book on . Her studies in macroeconomics and international economics have been referenced in policy materials by the IMF, OECD, World Bank, and European Commission.

Dr. Havránková maintains the website , which provides data and codes for meta-research;  forthcoming in JPE Micro is built entirely on this resource. She is Associate Editor for meta-analysis at the Journal of Economic Surveys and has been active in international networks such as the Meta-Analysis of Economics Research Network, collaborating with researchers at institutions including the University of California, Berkeley, University of Canterbury, Christchurch, and Stanford. Her academic achievements have been recognized with numerous awards, including the Katerina Smidkova Award from the Czech Economic Society (for the top Czech female economist), Editor’s Prize for best paper in Experimental Economics in 2024, and prizes from the Czech National Bank, National Bank of Slovakia, Czech Ministry of Education, and Global Development Network. According to , she ranks among the top 150 female economists worldwide and is currently the most cited Czech female economist.

Katarína Stehlíková earned her M.A. (Mgr.) degree in Mathematics and Management at the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics at the Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia and her Ph.D. in Economics at the Center for Economic Research and Graduate Studies (CERGE-EI) in Prague. She worked as a researcher at the Economics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences focusing on quality assurance of nonprofit organizations and corporate giving. Since 2006, she has worked at Anglo-American University in various positions: initially the Dean of School of Business Administration, since 2009 also Vice-Provost for Student Affairs, and since 2011 in the position of Vice President and Accreditation Liaison Officer.

Jan joined AAU in the fall of 2009 and has been working on a range of academic and administrative matters since. Currently, he serves as vice dean of the School of Business Administration and the School of Law. He holds a Ph.D. from Prague University of Economics and Business. He spent the fall of 2014 as a visiting scholar at the Department of Economics at George Mason University. In his spare time, he is a big sports fan and enjoys playing basketball and tennis.

Svoboda is the Vice President for Academic Affairs. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics and his M.A. in Economic Policy and Philosophy at the University of Economics, Prague. He also graduated from Charles University (liberal studies). Miroslav has extensive experience in university-level academic and operational management, academic quality management, and teaching economics. Miroslav previously served as Dean of School of Business Administration at AAU. Before, he served as Vice Dean for Academic and Students Affairs at the largest Czech university, specializing in economics, where he initiated and participated in university accreditation and academic quality enhancement, and participated in managing university fiscal and information resources.

Peter Bolcha earned both his MSc and PhD in economics at the University of Economics, Prague. His research interests are connected with empirical economics and applied econometrics. Bolcha has published on topics related to evaluations of government policies and applied economics.

Along with his academic activities, which include past work at the University of Economics and Charles University, he has worked on multiple projects with major institutions and companies such as RWE (innogy), the Czech Ministry of Trade, and the Czech Traffic Police.

Bolcha has managed over 80 junior consulting projects for students and serves as director of the International Consulting Program at AAU. Additionally, he founded the Center for Applied Research (now the AAU Research Office), which he led as a director of research for five years.
